Orientation To Housing Co-ops (Evening)
Wednesday, March 21, 2018 | 5:30 PM
In a housing cooperative "the members are the landlord." Members have their own apartments but work together to keep their property and community running well.
Financially, living in a co-op is like renting. The control, responsibility, and security are more like owning.
The aspect of members working together is unique to co-ops. It creates the sense of community that members enjoy, and it requires an ongoing commitment.
The first step in applying for a co-op is to attend a one-hour orientation at our main office, 88 King Street. Applications are provided at the session.
Please register so we know how many people to expect.
