Buying a Housing Trust Home

There are no buyer-driven grants currently available.

You don’t need a lot of money or a high-paying job to buy one of our homes, but you do need income, good credit, and reasonable debts. You can rebuild your credit and reduce your debt through our counseling program. The Champlain Housing Trust will work with you every step of the way to help prepare you for buying a home of your own.

Our grant program is made possible by the Vermont Housing & Conservation Board, which provides approximately $1 million annually statewide to assist Vermonters make their home buying dreams come true.VHCB logo
