CHT’s Members’ Day Picnic!

TIME: 11:00 am – 1:30 pm
WHERE: North Beach Picnic Shelter, Burlington
North Beach entry, parking, activities, and lunch are all FREE! Sign up by August 15th!
Join us to celebrate community and our 40th anniversary! Enjoy FREE fun and food by the lake! Each household will receive a special 40th anniversary gift! We can’t wait to see you!

- FOOD ~ Grilled all beef hot dogs or hamburgers, veggie burgers, side salads, watermelon, drinks, and dessert! Tell us any allergies or dietary restrictions when you sign up.
- FUN ACTIVITIES ~ Members’ Day Picnic is for all ages. Connect with old friends and meet new ones! Enjoy lawn games, bubbles, face painting by FaceMania!, and music by DJ Melo Grant!
- LOCATION & BUS INFO ~ North Beach is located at 60 Institute Road in Burlington (off of North Avenue) and is accessible by Green Mountain Transit #7 North Avenue Bus. Stops to the picnic are at the intersection of North Avenue and Institute Road (Burlington High School). From the bus stop, it’s a 10–15-minute walk from North Avenue through the North Beach Park entrance to the picnic. Tell us when you sign up if you need help getting from the bus stop to the picnic shelter.
- BIKING ~ North Beach is accessible by bike via the Burlington Greenway (bike path). Racks to lock your bike are available at North Beach not far from the picnic shelter.
- PARKING ~ Carpool if you can! If driving, you must enter your license plate info when you sign up to receive FREE PARKING.
- TRANSPORTATION FROM ST. ALBANS ~ is available; request it in the comments section when you sign up.
- VOLUNTEER ~ are you interested in helping at the picnic? CHT is looking for volunteers to help with the following:
– set up before the picnic (set up tables, games, cut watermelon…)
– parking helpers (direct guests to open parking spaces)
– help during the event (re-stock drinks, help with recycling…)
– help pick up and pack up at the end of the event (take down tables, tents, games, etc…)
– SIGN UP TO VOLUNTEER and let us know what you’d like to help with and if you have a time commitment or preference.
