Efficiency Vermont and Champlain Housing Trust have teamed up for the Fall semester of HomeOwner University to help homeowners get ready for winter weather.
CHT was pleased to welcome Brad Long from Efficiency Vermont for a class about slashing your energy bills. The class introduced many of the programs and services offered through Efficiency Vermont such as ways to conserve energy and save money, energy assessments, rebates, financial resources and more. Efficiency Vermont. has a whole “Button Up” Series to prepare for the upcoming winter. Button Up is an annual campaign to winterize your home.

You’ll also find tips, projects, and comprehensive ways to, “save money and stay comfortable all winter long.” This includes “Do It Yourself” weatherization projects you can do in your own home. Also available is a free weekly “Weatherization Wednesday” webinar series that offers tips to help you prepare your home and save money this winter.
