The Vermont Housing & Conservation Coalition is hosting its annual Legislative Day at the State House in Montpelier on Friday, February 14th and you’re invited! CHT is a leader in this coalition that advocates for the State to allocate money to the Vermont Housing & Conservation Board, allowing for more affordable housing to be built, more open space and farms to be conserved, and historical buildings in our downtowns to be preserved.
Legislative Day is a chance to speak directly with your lawmakers about why affordable housing is important to you! The Card Room and Room 11 will be reserved for gathering, dialogue, and connection. More details about the day’s schedule coming soon.
CHT will provide transportation and support for you to connect with your own Representatives and/or Senators, leaving in the morning from Burlington and returning in the afternoon. To reserve transportation, email Jack Commo. If you are planning to attend separately we’d love to know that, too, so we can send a schedule of hearings and events for the day.
