The Vermont Housing & Conservation Coalition is hosting its annual Legislative Day at the State House in Montpelier on Wednesday, February 14th and you’re invited! CHT is a leader in this coalition that advocates for the State to allocate money to the Vermont Housing & Conservation Board, allowing for more affordable housing to be built, more open space and farms to be conserved, and historical buildings in our downtowns to be preserved.
Legislative Day is a chance to speak directly with your lawmakers about why affordable housing is important to you! CHT will provide transportation and provide support for you to connect with your own Representatives and/or Senators, leaving in the morning from Burlington and returning in the afternoon. To reserve transportation, please email Jack Commo. If you are planning to attend separately we’d love to know that, too, so we can send you a schedule of hearings and events for the day.

- 11:00 – 1:00 — Individual meetings and lunch with lawmakers
- 3:00 — Welcome on the House Floor
- 1:00 – 4:00 — Committee testimony
- 3:30 – 5:00 — Ice cream social
