HomeBuyer Education Workshop-June 10 & 12

We understand, it’s a tough housing market right now! In an environment with limited homes available for purchase and raised interest rates, Homebuyer Education workshops give you the tools you need to know what you are up against and plan a course of action.

Join us June 10 and 12 from 5:30 pm-9:00 pm in person (both sessions required). This workshop will be taught at 88 King Street, Burlington. To register, click green button on the right.

This workshop will cover:

• How to prepare your finances to be in a position to purchase

• Special programs that can help with closing costs and down payment

• The steps in the home buying process and timelines you can expect

• How to work with a real estate agent, a lender, a lawyer and a home inspector

This two-part course with combined counseling is $99.00 and will grant you a HomeBuyer’s Education Certificate* and a one-on-one counseling session to go over your individual finances and questions.

*A HomeBuyer Education certificate is required for some loans and special programs, including Champlain Housing Trust’s Shared Equity homeownership program.
